The Story Behind The Idea
During the COVID-19 lockdowns, life felt very uncertain. Everything slowed down on the outside, but my mind didn’t. I needed something to help me feel grounded and connected again. Journaling became that space for me, somewhere I could pause, breathe, and understand how I was really feeling.
I also noticed how easy it was to pick up my phone and scroll whenever I felt anxious or overwhelmed. It became a habit that didn’t actually soothe me it just made my thoughts louder. Journaling gave me a softer alternative. It helped me slow things down, check in with myself, and move through what I was feeling instead of running from it.
This journal was created from that experience, with the intention to help you come back to yourself gently, slowly, and at your own pace.

About the Author
Growing up, I was a naturally a anxious teen. I often felt things deeply and didn’t always know how to express it. So I turned to what I could access psychology videos, journaling, long walks, sauna sessions, stretching, and breathwork.
Those practices became my way of calming my nervous system and staying connected to myself.
Over the years, journaling became more than writing.
It became self-therapy , a quiet space where I could release, understand, heal, and grow. It helped me make sense of my emotions, see my patterns clearly, and rebuild confidence from within.
It taught me how to be gentle with myself, especially on the days when life felt overwhelming.
